The Hotel Schneeberg is located in Ridnaun near the town of Sterzing in South Tyrol. The Ridnauntal is a side valley of the Eisacktal and flows into the upper Eisacktal/Wipptal near Sterzing. It is ideal for hikes of all levels of difficulty. Those looking for an easy hike can walk along the shady paths around the Ridnaun stream and enjoy the silence and the scent of the woods. But the Ridnau Valley is also perfect for those who want to head into the high mountains. Climb Europe's highest mountain hut, the Becherhaus at over 3,000 meters above sea level or the slightly lower Speikkofl. You should also visit the famous Zwölferturm tower in Sterzing's old town. Many cozy cafés invite you to linger.
